How to Unlock a Stella Sora Special Memory
A Stella Sora special memory turns a Heartlink outing into a collectible character moment, with extra Affinity and a Stellanite Dust reward. With just five invites shared across your Trekkers each day, planning your destination helps those outings count. To unlock a Stella Sora special memory, invite the matching Trekker to the right location and select their specific closing choice.
The important catch: choosing the correct answer does not guarantee the memory scene will appear. You can follow the right route and still need another attempt.
Heartlink is on your in-game phone beside Chat and Mail. Each outing includes two decisions: an opening route choice and a closing activity choice. The opening decision changes the scenery; the closing decision determines which Special Memory you can encounter.
| Heartlink mechanic | What to know |
|---|---|
| Invite requirement | Reach Affinity Lv. 6 with that Trekker |
| Daily allowance | Five invites shared across all Trekkers |
| Destinations | Six locations |
| Special Memories | 96 across the six locations |
| Opening choice | Changes the route and scenes |
| Closing choice | Determines the eligible Special Memory |
| Leaving early | Still consumes the invite |
Before spending an invite, choose the character and memory you want to pursue. Then check the destination and closing answer together.
Available destinations rotate, and restarting the game rerolls the location list. At locations with four closing options, only three appear during an outing. If your desired answer is missing, that visit cannot follow the closing choice needed for your target memory.

Special Memory Rewards and Repeat Visits
A Stella Sora special memory adds 25 Affinity to the outing and awards 10 Stellanite Dust as a one-time reward. Some route scenes also provide another 15 Affinity.

That produces four possible outing totals before gifts:
| Outing result | Affinity earned |
|---|---|
| Ordinary ending | 200 |
| Ordinary ending with a bonus scene | 215 |
| Special Memory ending | 225 |
| Special Memory ending with a bonus scene | 240 |
These rewards stack through the outing. The 15-point scene bonus and 25-point Special Memory bonus are separate additions to the normal 200 Affinity.
Once you encounter a Special Memory, its Memory Snapshot appears in that Trekker’s archive. Encountering it again still awards the Affinity, but the Stellanite Dust reward is a one-off.
Track new snapshots separately from repeat outings. Repeating a familiar memory still builds your bond, while collecting another memory gives you another one-time reward.
Finish your outings even when the desired ending fails to appear. Leaving early spends the invite anyway, so abandoning a visit does not preserve your daily allowance.
Memory Choices at the Cave, Dessert Shop, and Academy
Use the closing dialogue below to target a Stella Sora special memory at these three locations. Pick either opening route; you do not need a particular first answer to qualify for the listed ending.

The Cave contains 18 memories, the Dessert Shop contains 19, and the Academy contains 15. The table covers the character-and-choice combinations listed here, rather than every memory at those destinations.
| Location | Trekker | Closing choice | Special Memory |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Cave | Ann | “Keep exploring deeper.” | Gift from the Mountain God |
| The Cave | Canace | “Keep exploring deeper.” | When It Rains, It Pours |
| The Cave | Freesia | “Don't go any deeper. Stop here and take a rest.” | The Mysterious Mushroom |
| The Cave | Fuyuka | “Don't go any deeper. Stop here and take a rest.” | The Brave One's Proposition |
| The Dessert Shop | Tilia | “Take part in the raffle inside the store.” | Out of Habit |
| The Dessert Shop | Allie | “Haven't had enough. Let's order some more.” | The Charcoal Cake |
| The Dessert Shop | Caramel | “Haven't had enough. Let's order some more.” | Jumbo Parfait |
| The Dessert Shop | Freesia | “It's still early. Chat a bit longer.” | True Heart |
| The Dessert Shop | Iris | “It's still early. Chat a bit longer.” | The Bitter and the Sweet |
| The Academy | Amber | “Getting hungry. Gonna go to the cafeteria.” | Cafeteria Trick |
| The Academy | Canace | “Getting hungry. Gonna go to the cafeteria.” | Faculty Cafeteria |
| The Academy | Allie | “Gonna look around inside the library.” | Call Your Parents |
| The Academy | Ann | “Gonna look around inside the library.” | Eager to Learn |
At the Cave, your opening choice sends you left or right. Both routes have three stops and include a possible scene worth 15 extra Affinity. Choose the route you want to read, then focus on whether your Trekker’s closing answer involves deeper exploration or resting.
The Dessert Shop opens with a choice between cake and drinks. For Allie’s The Charcoal Cake, either opening works; ordering more at the end is the relevant choice.
At the Academy, you can start with the classroom building or plaza. Ann’s Eager to Learn requires the library closing choice, while Amber’s Cafeteria Trick uses the cafeteria answer.
Keep memory names beside your checklist entries. Allie has different memories at the Dessert Shop and Academy, and Freesia has separate endings at the Cave and Dessert Shop. A checklist organized only by character can make those remaining outings harder to track.
Memory Choices at the Market, Port, and Hot Spring Resort
The next Stella Sora special memory routes cover the Market, Port, and Hot Spring Resort. These locations contain 22, 12, and 10 memories, respectively.

The Market deserves extra attention because it has four possible closing activities, with only three appearing on a given outing.
| Location | Trekker | Closing choice | Special Memory |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Market | Nazuka | “What's that? Looks suspicious.” | False Alarm |
| The Market | Tilia | “What's that? Looks suspicious.” | Solved On the Spot |
| The Market | Ann | “There's an event you can join in the game area.” | View From High |
| The Market | Chaton | “There's an event you can join in the game area.” | Not Her Day |
| The Market | Firefly | “There's a show over there.” | Vantage Point |
| The Market | Flora | “There's a show over there.” | Outside Help |
| The Market | Canace | “Haven't been to that area yet.” | The Mirror Never Lies |
| The Market | Caramel | “Haven't been to that area yet.” | Artistic Integrity |
| The Port | Amber | “How about doing some night fishing?” | The Kitten Encounter |
| The Port | Firenze | “How about doing some night fishing?” | The Bait |
| The Port | Caramel | “Take a small boat out for some coastal sightseeing.” | Secret Stage |
| The Port | Chitose | “Take a small boat out for some coastal sightseeing.” | Port Talk |
| Hot Spring Resort | Chixia | “Let’s go soak in the hot springs.” | A Hot Spring Mystery |
| Hot Spring Resort | Eleanor | “Let’s go soak in the hot springs.” | Diving in the Hot Spring |
| Hot Spring Resort | Gerie | “Wander around for a bit.” | The Snow Spirit |
| Hot Spring Resort | Minova | “Wander around for a bit.” | Deceptive Packaging |
For a Market example, invite Firefly and select the show at the closing decision to pursue Vantage Point. Starting with the food stalls or household goods does not change the required ending.
At the Port, Amber and Firenze both use night fishing, but each has a different memory. Caramel and Chitose instead need the small-boat sightseeing choice. Match the answer to the Trekker you invited.
The Hot Spring Resort includes one particularly useful distinction: the ping-pong closing choice has no Special Memories. Select soaking for Chixia or Eleanor, and wandering for Gerie or Minova.
If the right Stella Sora special memory does not trigger, keep the same character, destination, and required closing choice for another attempt. Changing the opening route is unnecessary for memory eligibility.
Gifts and a Daily Heartlink Routine
Pair your Stella Sora special memory attempts with gifts to build Affinity during the same visit. You can hand over one gift per outing, and that gift earns double Affinity without counting toward the daily Mail allowance.
Mail allows 10 gifts per day. Gifts have base Affinity values of 150, 500, or 2,000, with a 50% increase for a liked gift family or a 20% reduction for a disliked family.
| Trekker | Liked gift families | Disliked gift family |
|---|---|---|
| Allie | Hair Dryers, Iced Desserts, Fine Tableware | Glow Sticks |
| Ann | Celestial Ornaments, Iced Desserts | — |
| Freesia | Hair Dryers, Celestial Ornaments, Fine Tableware | Flame Artifacts |
| Amber | Photo Capturers, Glow Sticks | — |
| Chitose | Flame Artifacts, Wind Spinners, Fine Tableware | Glow Sticks |
| Eleanor | Photo Capturers, Hair Dryers, Fine Tableware | Flame Artifacts |
| Minova | Flame Artifacts, Photo Capturers, Celestial Ornaments | Hair Dryers |
Save your higher-value liked gifts for outings. A gift worth 2,000 base Affinity becomes 3,000 when the Trekker likes its family, then reaches 6,000 Affinity with the date multiplier. That gift reward is separate from the outing’s own Affinity.
For Allie, for example, bring an Iced Dessert, Hair Dryer, or Fine Tableware gift while pursuing The Charcoal Cake. Avoid handing her a Glow Stick, which belongs to her disliked family.
Build your daily routine around these steps:
- Check Affinity eligibility. Your chosen Trekker needs Lv. 6 before you can invite them.
- Choose an uncollected memory. Record its character, location, and closing answer.
- Prepare a liked gift. Reserve a higher-value one for the outing multiplier.
- Check the destination list. Restart to reroll locations when your target destination is absent.
- Complete the outing. Choose the required closing activity when it appears.
- Update your checklist. Mark the snapshot as collected only after the memory plays.
For Trekkers below the invite requirement, use gifts and their Affinity tasks to work toward Lv. 6. Each Trekker’s task list provides 1,800 Affinity in total, covering milestones such as Ascension, skill upgrades, Record ratings, and Potential collection.
Affinity also unlocks character content beyond outings. Lv. 10 opens the third Trekker Story chapter, an Affinity Title, and the first Affinity voiceover. Later milestones add more voiceovers and archive entries. Affinity increases HP and ATK as well, with those stat gains stopping at Lv. 50.
FAQ
Why didn’t my Stella Sora special memory unlock after the correct choice?
The matching character, destination, and closing answer make the memory eligible, but the scene does not always appear. Repeat that combination on another outing. The opening route does not determine the Special Memory.
What Affinity level unlocks Heartlink invites?
A Trekker needs Affinity Lv. 6 before you can invite them. You have five daily invites shared across all Trekkers.
Can you farm Stellanite Dust by repeating a Special Memory?
No. Each memory’s 10 Stellanite Dust reward is a one-time payout. Repeat encounters still award Affinity, including the Special Memory bonus.
Does giving a gift during an outing use the Mail limit?
No. You can give one gift per outing without using the daily allowance of 10 mailed gifts. Outing gifts also receive double Affinity, so reserve valuable liked gifts for those visits.
