Meet the Stella Sora Characters and Their Elements
Build around your squad’s needs: Stella Sora characters span six elements, with damage dealers, supporting attackers, and utility specialists. Your choices matter because some character builds require an entire squad of the same element to activate their core effects. This guide to Stella Sora characters covers the roster, practical team choices, and the Version 2.0 recruitment schedule beginning October 19, 2026, after maintenance.
The playable adventurers are called Trekkers. You assemble a three-member team and travel through Nova as the Tyrant, also known as the Boss. Each Trekker brings a different combination of element, combat abilities, and personality.
Here is an element-by-element overview of the roster, with Firstlight Noya included for Version 2.0:
| Element | Characters |
|---|---|
| Ignis | Amber, Chaton, Chixia, Flora, Fuyuka, Kasimira, Snowish Laru |
| Aqua | Allie, Chitose, Donna, Freesia, Iris, Shimiao, Suntide Willow, Teresa |
| Terra | Gerie, Nazuna, Ridge, Sparkla, Springseek Coronis |
| Ventus | Ann, Canace, Eleanor, Nanoha, Nazuka, Noya, Wraith |
| Lux | Firefly, Firstlight Noya, Jinglin, Laru, Minova, Shia, Tilia |
| Umbra | Caramel, Coronis, Cosette, Firenze, Karin, Mistique, Otoha |
Pay attention to each character’s full name. Noya is a Ventus Trekker, while Firstlight Noya is the new five-star Lux Trekker arriving with Version 2.0. Likewise, Laru and Snowish Laru appear under different elements, as do Coronis and Springseek Coronis.
Character appearances are another separate consideration. Noya’s A Moment’s Rest by Your Side is a login-event appearance, while Firstlight Noya has her own recruitment event.
The cast also has plenty of personality beyond combat. Allie helps care for the children at Daisy Orphanage, combining a gentle manner with an uncompromising determination to protect them. Her household theme carries into her battle animations and skill names, including Housework Slash and Restore Order.
Understand Combat Roles Before Choosing Your Team
When comparing Stella Sora characters, look at what each one contributes in a particular slot. Several Trekkers have meaningful placements in more than one combat role.

| Combat role | Function | Character examples |
|---|---|---|
| DPS | Provides the team’s primary damage | Fuyuka, Shia, Allie, Chitose, Karin |
| Sub-DPS | Contributes supporting damage alongside the main attacker | Donna, Minova, Nazuka, Otoha, Freesia |
| Utility | Provides support through effects such as healing, shielding, or buffs | Nazuna, Suntide Willow, Ann, Teresa, Tilia |
These examples describe combat roles rather than a universal team formula. Otoha appears as both a primary and supporting damage option, while Donna also has a utility placement. Their value depends on the specific build and assignment.
Choose your main attacker before committing resources to supporting characters. Allie makes the reason clear: her central build effects activate in an all-Aqua squad. Filling her remaining slots with strong characters from unrelated elements would leave those effects inactive.
Also distinguish a character’s class from their team role. Allie is an Aqua Vanguard with melee attacks, and her practical assignment is an on-field carry. “Vanguard” identifies her class; “DPS” describes her contribution to the squad.
For Stella Sora characters with multiple builds, check the damage type each build actually scales. Allie can focus on Skill DMG or Mark DMG, and the same gear priorities do not apply equally to both.
Allie’s Skills and Two Main Builds
Allie offers a useful example of how deeply a Trekker’s potentials can change their playstyle. She is a five-star Aqua melee carry whose kit revolves around Sweep Marks, Tide, and a two-phase Ultimate.

| Ability | What it does | Detail to remember |
|---|---|---|
| Housework Slash | Performs a five-hit melee Auto Attack sequence | Her Mark build enhances these attacks |
| Sweeping Rush | Dashes into an attack that deals two waves of area Aqua Skill DMG | Has a seven-second cooldown and generates Sweep Marks |
| Sweeping Slashes | Performs an off-field sequence of area Aqua attacks | Can trigger Aqua Mark and Tide |
| Deep Sweep | Uses Dust Off, followed by the temporarily available Restore Order | Costs 275 energy and has a 40-second cooldown |
Sweeping Rush generates Tide, Allie’s special mark mechanic. Tide triggers deal Aqua Mark DMG and apply Flood for 10 seconds. Flood stacks up to nine times, then is consumed to trigger the stronger area burst called Ebb.
Sweep Marks are a separate mechanic. Allie normally holds up to three, with a 12-second duration. Her core potentials change their limit, duration, and interaction with her Ultimate.
Skill Build: Repeated Restore Order Casts
The Skill build centers on Quick Sweep. In an all-Aqua squad, this potential raises the Sweep Mark cap to five, makes the marks permanent, and adds Crit Rate. Reaching the cap lets Allie cast Ultimate Phase 2 through her Main Skill for free.
Multi Sweep adds blade-shadow attacks that generate additional Sweep Marks. Cleaver Ready reduces the blade shadows’ trigger interval after Phase 2 and supplies further Skill Crit bonuses in an all-Aqua squad.
The other key piece is Clothesline Stance, which converts Phase 2’s damage into Skill DMG. That conversion lets you concentrate your damage bonuses on a shared category.
Use Sweeping Rush whenever its cooldown ends, build toward free Restore Order casts, and prioritize the potentials that keep that cycle moving. Restore Order also grants damage immunity during its animation, adding protection while Allie attacks at melee range.
Mark Build: Maintaining Sweeping Stance
The Mark build instead uses Dusting Vortex to access free casts of Dust Off, Ultimate Phase 1. Dust Off activates Sweeping Stance, which increases Allie’s ATK.
Overtime Chore enhances her Auto Attacks in an all-Aqua squad during the stance. Wide Blade Arc converts Phase 1 and Auto Attack damage into Mark DMG, while Sweep Extension adds further Mark damage interactions.
Wide Blade Arc also reduces Allie’s Mark Crit Rate by 100%. Build Mark DMG, Aqua PEN, and Aqua DMG for this setup rather than chasing Crit bonuses.
This build particularly wants Suntide Willow, whose Mark DMG buffs support its central damage engine. Without her, favor Allie’s Skill build, which loses less performance in alternative Aqua teams.
Build an Aqua Team Around Allie
Team synergy gives you a more useful way to compare Stella Sora characters than looking at rarity alone. Allie’s available partners directly affect which build makes sense.

| Three-member squad | Team interaction | Build direction |
|---|---|---|
| Allie, Donna, Suntide Willow | Suntide Willow supplies the Mark-focused support Allie wants | Supports both builds, including the Mark setup |
| Allie, Donna, Teresa | Teresa occupies the support position without Suntide Willow | Favor Skill |
| Allie, Iris, Teresa | Maintains the all-Aqua requirement with different partners | Favor Skill |
| Allie, Freesia, Teresa | Another all-Aqua combination for Allie’s main-slot builds | Favor Skill |
Start by checking which of these partners you own. Keep all three slots Aqua when using Allie’s element-dependent core potentials.
Then match emblem bonuses to your chosen build:
- Skill build: Prioritize Skill DMG, Aqua PEN, Aqua DMG, and appropriate Crit bonuses.
- Mark build: Prioritize Mark DMG, Aqua PEN, and Aqua DMG.
- With Talent 1: Account for Allie’s additional 15% Skill Crit Rate before selecting further Crit lines.
Her second talent reinforces the split. Restore Order grants 36% Skill DMG for 15 seconds, while Dust Off grants 66% Mark DMG for the same duration.
Allie’s signature Disc, Bedtime Story, also supports Aqua teams. Its Storybook stacks grant Skill DMG, and its damage-triggered debuff increases the target’s Aqua Skill DMG and Aqua Mark DMG taken. Its additional effects build Reverie stacks for Mark DMG and provide further Aqua bonuses.
If you already have a developed Chitose team, compare the cost of changing your carry and rebuilding emblems before pursuing Allie. Chitose already occupies the Aqua damage-dealer role, while Allie asks for her own build investment.

The anniversary login events also deserve attention. One Starlit Year, Wishes Unfold awards 100 Fated Reunion Limited Tickets during its event period. One Starlit Year, Warmth by Your Side awards Noya’s A Moment’s Rest by Your Side appearance. Both run from October 19 after maintenance through November 9 at 19:59 UTC-7.
Other appearance additions include Shia’s Call of the Coral Sea and Firenze’s Deadly Beauty, Unparalleled Allure, available for purchase through November 16 at 19:59 UTC-7. Noya’s Lingering Sunlight and Nanoha’s When Distant Winds Rise become permanent shop appearances after the October 19 maintenance.
Version 2.0 also adds The Tyrant’s Tower, where you can customize your Monolith, spend time with Trekkers, and collect Treasures. Visit the Stella Sora official website for game news and event announcements as you plan your next recruitment.
FAQ
What are Stella Sora characters called?
The playable characters are called Trekkers. They fight in three-member teams and have individual elements, classes, skills, and potentials. You play as the Tyrant, whom your companions also call the Boss.
Are Noya and Firstlight Noya the same roster entry?
Noya is a Ventus Trekker, while Firstlight Noya is a separate five-star Lux Trekker introduced through Version 2.0’s exclusive limited recruitment. Noya’s appearance rewards are separate from Firstlight Noya’s recruitment event.
Which teammates work with Allie?
Allie’s listed teams include Donna and Suntide Willow, Donna and Teresa, Iris and Teresa, or Freesia and Teresa. Keep her squad entirely Aqua to activate her core build effects. Favor the Skill build without Suntide Willow.
Should Allie use Skill DMG or Mark DMG?
Choose bonuses for the build you are running. Her Restore Order build scales around Skill DMG after Clothesline Stance’s conversion. Her Sweeping Stance build uses Mark DMG through Wide Blade Arc and particularly benefits from Suntide Willow.
